Environmental Awareness & Resource Depletion Tendencies Among Farmers
Details
Resource depletion tendencies among farmers may be checked with the use of workshop. Workshop in most cases in an organized setting where the resource persons and the participants come together with the intension of solving a particular problem. Here opinions are shared, ideas are given, and people are made to engage in critical thinking and reasoning, with the aim of fashioning out ways or modalities to solve a given problem. In the 21st century, the need to tackle environmental problems have caused the government, non-governmental organization and individual organizations huge amounts of money to educate particularly farmers and other people whose occupation and source of livelihood is derived from the environment. Although much money has been sunk in to achieve environmental sustainability, much still need to be done if the goal of sustainable development is to be achieved holistically.
