Equity in Malaria Treatment and Prevention: Experiences from Tanzania
Details
Studies on inequities in access and utilisation of healthcare interventions particularly for the world's poorest populations are increasingly becoming important given the need to achieve the UN health-related MGDs targets by 2015. This book is therefore timely in highlighting the extent to which existing effecient malaria control interventions continue to benefit the richer households than the poorer and sicker members of society. This recorgnition calls for deliberate effort to target effective health interventios towards the poor.
