In this book, an inquest is launched in order to understand the implementation of human rights treaties in Nigeria with a special focus on how life can be brought into the effectiveness of the Maputo Protocol against all negating odds.The underlying message of this research is to understand why treaties fail in the country after the signing and ratification stage and also, how to combat this obnoxious obstacle by understudying the recommendations therein.

Mosopefoluwa Fayeun is a Nigerian lawyer, gender specialist, women/child rights activist with specific interest in gender discrimination in institutions.
