Feeding of bread waste in growing piglet

Researchers and farmers are investigating alternate feed alternatives as a result of the growing need for economical and sustainable animal production. Bread waste, a byproduct of the bakery industry, is one such resource that has a lot of potential as an affordable and wholesome feed item for pigs. The feasibility, nutritional advantages, and financial ramifications of feeding bread waste to pigs are examined in this book, Feeding of Bread Waste in Growing Crossbred Piglets. The necessity to solve food waste management issues and lower feed costs-one of the biggest expenses in pig farming-is what motivates our endeavor. We assess the effects of bread waste on the general productivity, health, and growth performance of crossbred piglets through a number of research. Designed for farmers, researchers, and agricultural students, this book provides valuable insights into sustainable pig farming practices. Dr. Ajay Kumar qualified ICAR- Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) for the Master's Degree programme and completed his M.V.Sc. (LPM) from the NDVSU, Jabalpur. Dr. Kumar was awarded an institutional fellowship during his Ph.D. degree programme and pursued his Ph.D. (LPM) from ICAR-NDRI, Karnal, Haryana.
