Dr. Sandeep Kumar is currently a professor at CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore. He recently completed his post-doctoral research at Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in sentiment analysis. He is an associate editor for Springer's Human-centric Computing and Information Sciences (HCIS) journal. He has published more than hundred research papers in various international journals/conferences and attended several national and international conferences and workshops. He has authored/edited twelve books in the area of computer science. Also, he has been serving as a general chair of the Congress on Intelligent Systems (CIS), the International Conference on Communication and Computational Technologies (ICCCT), International Conference on Sustainable and Innovative Solutions for Current Challenges in Engineering & Technology (ICSISCET), and IEEE International Conference on Contemporary Computing and Communications (InC4). His research interests include nature-inspired algorithms, swarm intelligence, soft computing, and computational intelligence.
Dr E. A. Mary Anita holds a B.E and M.E from the Government College of Engineering, Tirunelveli, India, and a Ph.D. in Information and Communication from Anna University, Chennai. She is presently a professor and head in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, CHRIST (Deemed to be University), Bangalore. She is a passionate researcher and has served in various teaching and administrative capacities over three decades. She has published over 90 research papers in International and national journals and conferences. She has completed one research project for CVRDE, DRDO, and Chennai and has undertaken various consultancy projects. She has guided 7 PhD scholars and is currently guiding eight scholars. She has published three books and has two patents to her credit. She has received grants worth 75 lakhs from various funding agencies for research and organizing events. Her main research interests are in wireless networks, security, and privacy.
Professor Kim, formerly Dean of Engineering College of Korea University, obtained his Ph.D. degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1992 with the thesis title "Optimal replacement/rehabilitation model for water distribution systems". He has been the faculty of School of Civil, Environmental, and Architectural Engineering at Korea University since 1993 and is now the professor emeritus. He has hosted international conferences including APHW 2013, ICHSA 2014 & 2015, HIC 2016, HIC 2018, ICHSA 2019, ICHSA 2020, and ICHSA 2022, and has given keynote speeches at many international conferences including AOGS 2013, GCIS 2013, SocPros 2014 & 2015, SWGIC 2017, RTORS 2017, ICHSA 2020, ICCIS 2020, and FSACE 2021. He has been a member of National Academy of Engineering of Korea since 2017.
Atulya K. Nagar, the Foundation Chair and Professor of Mathematical Sciences, presently serves as the pro-vice-chancellor for Research at Liverpool Hope University in the UK. He holds a significant legacy as the founding dean of the Faculty of Science and the inaugural head of the School of Mathematics, Computer Science, and Engineering, which he established at the institution. A recipient of a distinguished Commonwealth Fellowship, he earned his doctorate (D.Phil.) in Nonlinear Mathematics from the University of York in 1996. His academic journey includes an impressive educational background, obtaining a B.Sc. (Hons in Mathematics and Physics), M.Sc. (Pure and Applied Mathematics), and M.Phil. (with distinction) specialising in Relativistic Cosmology from the MDS University of Ajmer in India. Prior to joining Liverpool Hope in September 2001, Prof. Nagar held roles at Brunel University, London, within the Departments of Mathematical Sciences and Systems Engineering.
