A stimulating and provocative book about sexual behaviour patterns of the street youths of Harare, Zimbabwe.People in the developing societies the world over are trying to understand the lives of the "Street Children".Dr Ruparanganda gives an important Socio-historical background to street dwelling. He also highlights important theoretical and methodological debates about power differentials between men and women in society. The book reveals the dangers the children of the street are exposed to. These include high probabilities of contracting the dreaded HIV and AIDS, sexually transmitted infections and skin diseases. Dr Watch Ruparanganda was born in Gutu District of Zimbabwe. He holds a PhD in Social Anthropology and currently he is the Chairman of the Department of Sociology at the University of Zimbabwe where he is also a lecturer.
