HUMAN RIGHTS IN ISLAM

Human Rights in Islam, is a topic of study and research has got importance and become the need of the hour in the present era of the Muslim world. Islam is termed as a religion of nature (din al-fitrah) which fulfils all the requirements of individual and society in the light of revealed teachings, which are completely in accordance with the reason. The Qur'an emphasizes upon all the human values to be granted to all the human beings irrespective of culture and religion and the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in his last sermon openly declared the implementation of human rights in the society. This last sermon is known as Khutba Hujja Tul-Widda and it is the first properly documented and fully ensured charter of human rights in the world.
