The third revised edition of the IATG continues the process of systematizing title abbreviations in accordance with international norms. The number of journals, series, lexicons, and source works that are included has grown to 4,000 titles. In addition, the new edition also considers the system used in the SBL Handbook of Style, another important step toward the standardization of international title abbreviations.
