ICT and Project Based Learning for Sustainable Conservation Education

This study used Information and Communication Technology media to connect the expertise of local environmental officers to the Secondary School students who creatively conducted Projects Based Learning (PBL) activities for the purpose of solving persisted local environmental conservation problems. Using design research the study drew from principles and concepts of persuading understanding and change at one time with the case study research method applied in participatory design and formative evaluation. This project was based on the use of video and project based learning for sustainable environmental conservation education in Tanzania. Experimental and control groups of participants were involved in this study.
