Medical advances and prosperity, the pursuit of a more conscious lifestyle - all of these factors are contributing to the increasing longevity of our society, with effects that are felt in almost all areas of life. The labour market is particularly affected. Demographic change shows that the (working) population is not only getting older, but also smaller. To counteract the impending shortage of personnel, companies and businesses must develop new strategies. Continuing education is an established tool for training personnel, particularly with regard to changes brought about by technological progress. But to what extent is continuing education suitable for integrating older employees? What does continuing education look like and what potential do older workers offer?
