Islamic finance: a modern industry in its infancy?

This book attempts to present, in the simplest possible way, the Islamic finance industry as a modern emerging industry that is not in contradiction with the spirit of Shariah, offering today financing solutions in conformity with Islamic law. This industry began in the 1960s, accelerated after the 1970s and is now on an upward trend... To this end, we have provided a brief overview of the history and various stages in the practice of the Islamic finance industry, as well as its definition, followed by its principles and the various sources of this industry, and then its components and instruments, concluding with the outlook for this industry in Algeria.
