This book is a critical presentation of some of those ethical issues surrounding biomedicine especially from a Christian perspective. It highlights how a Christian should handle biomedical issues when it relates to taking decision about life and death. It deals with such issues as artificial womb, artificial insemination, surrogacy, in-vitro fertilization, sperm and egg donation, euthanasia, assisted suicide, medical negligence, abortion, organ transplanting and donation, human cloning, genetic engineering, cryonics and all kinds of body modification. It also presents the Christian principles that should guide any Christian when faced with life threatening dilemmas. Apart from being a book for the general public, it will help students offering courses in medical ethics or biomedical ethics. This book is also meant to arouse the interest of Religious studies scholars and indeed the Christian community in Nigeria and beyond to the ethical controversies and dilemmas facing many families, Christian doctors and nurses as they strive to serve humanity in their chosen profession.
