Tokuo Iwaisako is Professor and Director of the Institute of Economic Research, Hitotsubashi University. He also teaches finance and macroeconomics at Hitotsubashi University's Faculty of Economics and Business School. In the past, he served as President of the Nippon Finance Association (2018-2020) and Principal Economist at the Ministry of Finance's Institute of Policy Research (2009-2011). Professor Iwaisako received his Ph.D. in Economics from Harvard University in 1997, and his B.A. in Economics from Hitotsubashi University in 1990.
