Kusmi Lac on Nutrient Managed Zizyphus mauritiana

Poor plant nutritional status of host tree of lac insect can have adverse effects on the performance and fitness of the insect. Phloem feeders adversely affect both growth and amino- nitrogen profile of their host plants. Insect-plant relationship is may be affected by the application of micro or macro nutrients to crop plants. Phloem sap is an important source of insects of the order Hemiptera. Lac production has wide industrial applications and also provides livelihood to 3 - 4 million Lac growers, especially forest dependent and rainfed farmers. The application of nutrients to the host tree of lac insect is likely, it increase the growth of the tree and lac productivity. Therefore, the present book entitled "Nutrient Management for Kusmi Lac Production of Zizyphus mauritiana" concern with above discussions. Il poursuit également un doctorat en entomologie agricole au BRAUSS, Mhow, Indore Madhya Pradesh. L'auteur a publié 4 articles de recherche dans des revues nationales et internationales classées par la NAAS.
