This book is a research with stories of Mapuche women who tell their life stories about their cultural socialization process since childhood, how they develop their role as women within the Mapuche communities and their high degree of influence in the acceptance of the marital coexistence composed of two women and a man; In addition to knowing how the process of acculturation damages this form of family life based on bigamy and consequently the main difficulties that affected the Mapuche women who managed to live together in this family structure were made known and finally, the characteristics of the family dynamics that arise as a result of bigamy are made known. The present investigation fulfills the background of understanding the life of the Mapuche woman, for which seven interviews of life stories were carried out, in which the women tell their life experience, from their childhood to the present.
