He is a fellow of the Research Consortium of the Society of Health and Physical Educators (SHAPE America). Skip M. Williams is Associate Professor in the School of Kinesiology and Recreation at Illinois State University, USA, where he currently serves as the undergraduate director of physical education teacher education and graduate sequence coordinator for the Physical Education Pedagogy program. Before teaching in higher education, Dr. Williams taught and coached in public schools. His main research focus is on activity and fitness promotion of children and adolescents in school settings.
