It is not every question that deserves an answer (Publius Syrus, 42 B.C). I hope that most of the questions in this manual deserve an answer. The set of questions is unusually extensive, and is designed to reinforce and deepen students understanding of the concepts covered in each chapter. There is a strong emphasis on quantitative and problem-solving type exercises. In each chapter, there are two types of questions; Essay questions, Multiple choice questions or self-test questions. In total, there are over 1000 question. The abundance of questions is very useful for students to check their progress and understanding as they require more systematic and in-depth thinking. Like any other new book, this text may contain some grammar and typographical errors. Accordingly, all feedback for errors, advice and comments will be most welcomed and greatly appreciated.

Dr. Ahmad Azar has received the M.Sc. degree (2006) in System Dynamics and Ph.D degree (2009) in Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Systems from Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University (Egypt).
