This book is about Morphology, a branch of Linguistics. This book's title is Morphological Variations in Urdu Speaking Speech Community of India: Social and Language Change. Language Change, or the evolution of language, is the phenomenon where by phonetic, morphological, semantic, syntactic, and other features of language vary over time. The history of morphological analysis dates back to the ancient Indian linguist P ini, who formulated the 3,959 rules of Sanskrit morphology in the text A dhy y by using a Constituency Grammar. The Greco-Roman grammatical tradition also engaged in morphological analysis. Studies in Arabic morphology, conducted by Mar al-arw and A mad b. al Mas d, date back to at least 1200 CE. First of all the researcher would highlight the points on which scale the data has been collected. Following point of scale is given below which the researcher has found: Genitive Compounds in Urdu. Conjunctive Compounds in Urdu. Changes of Complex Word Formation with affixes. Changes due to Plural Formations. From the data it has proved that 18% of Urdu Speakers want Standard Urdu whereas 82% of Urdu Speakers have lenient sort of attitude.
