Multiple Intelligence-based Approaches: Enhancing Learner's Abilities
Details
This book is about the pupil's learning environment, which is critical in enhancing a learning process that ensures learning needs and abilities of all learners are met. The learning environment encompasses factors such as; the physical setting, resources and teaching approaches used in the classroom. Only when a teacher is aware of the strengths, needs and learning styles of their pupils can she choose the most appropriate learning materials and approaches. A relevant guideline to understanding a learner's strengths is the Multiple Intelligence (MI) Theory, which classifies learners according to their learning strengths within a range of eight intelligences. The purpose of this book is to highlight the key principles of Multiple Intelligence theory and how they influence a learning environment that creates learning opportunities for all pupils.
