This study is part of a scientific investigation developed from 2005 until 2018, presenting results originated in my Master studies. Actually those results have been compared with data from new experiments, you will find the main implications to vegetative growth in this document. The conception of this study was to obtain data applicable to mushroom production reality, looking for the physiological fungi degradation to productivity maximization and indicating an alternative system for this mushroom production.

Alexandre Antunes Brum holds a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences at Federal University of Pelotas, Brazil (2002). He also holds a Master's degree in Environmental Biotechnology at Federal University of Santa Catarina, Brazil (2005). Currently, he is finishing a PhD in Biotechnology and he is growing edible mushrooms in alternative systems.
