The visually impaired people generally use wooden cane sticks or their pets for having an imperfect idea about the path while they are travelling .Keeping in mind this issue, Nav-Belt is devised to help the visually impaired person to move freely and to sense the environment as well as obstacle present in the surroundings.The idea will help visually impaired persons to gain their freedom back. The obstacle is detected by the means of five IR sensors Leds which provide a feedback of the detected obstacle to microcontroller. In case they get lost, they can also use their smartphones which is connected by the means of an earphone to contact the last dialled number and ask for help.
