The resource of ground water has gained importance as source of drinking water and food security. It supports life on earth and governs the economic, industrial and agricultural growth of nation. It is the most important of natural resources because of the physiological need of man, animal and plant. There are many uses of water like agricultural, domestic, industrial, pollution control, recreation, maintenance of aquatic life, power generation and navigation. All these are related to economic, mental and physical health of world population.
