Principles of environmental education

Environmental education is a vital part of Education to inculcate the environmental literacy and environmental ethics among children. It is a process that allows individuals to explore environmental issues, engage in problem solving, and take action to improve the environment. Environmental education, properly understood, should constitute a comprehensive lifelong education, one responsive to changes in a rapidly changing world. This book provides the theoretical aspects of environmental education and a frame work for school education also. It also ensures the importance of environmental literacy and environmental ethics to impart environmental education.
