Psychosocial Intervention to Adolescents in Difficult Conditions

This book is a part of the work of Euro Master in International Health. A number of psychosocial projects and interventions targeted to children and adolescents affected by difficult conditions such as armed conflict have been reviewed. Based on the literature review, a psychosocial intervention model has been prepared for adolescents affected by armed conflict. The model will be useful to promote mental and psychosocial health of children and adolescents residing conflict affected countries.

Rajendra Karkee obtained his first master degree in Zoology, and then second master degree in International Health from Europe in 2005 . After that, he started his career as Instructor in School of Public health, BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan, Nepal. He is currently pursuing his PhD in utilisation of maternity services in Nepal.
