Details
Reproductive biology enjoys over 200 years of scientific custom. In recent years, the interdisciplinarity of reproductive ecology has become a model for integrating Physics, chemistry and biology in to natural history, evolutionary and applied ecology. The book gives a detailed idea about the reproductive biology of angiosperms. This book is written to provide practioners of plant reproductive biology with a broadly based source of methodologies as well as basic conceptual background to aid in understanding. Each chapter contains enough basic information about its topic that users can access the recent pertinent scientific literature. The results were clearly submitted both in table as well as in graphic forms. The photograph provided clearly reveal the various stages of reproductive biology of Impatiens, pollinators, pollen biology, stigma receptivity, seed germination etc. The book has clearly spelled out the correct bottleneck of the species which is growing in the high altitude areas of Western Ghats with high risk of extinction.
