High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! King Sagato Alofi was the Tu'i Agaifo 1997-2002. He was born on September 18, 1936 as the son of Lomano Musulamu. In 2002 he died and was succeeded by Soane Patita Maituku. This is a list of the rulers of the polity of Alo, which is located on the eastern part of Futuna Island in the Territory of Wallis and Futuna Islands. Alo, also known unofficially as Tu'a or the Kingdom of Futuna, is one of three official chiefdoms of the French territory of Wallis and Futuna, which encompasses the eastern two thirds (53 km² out of 83 km²) of Futuna Island, and mostly uninhabited Alofi Island (32 km², pop. 2) 2 km to the southeast. The total area of the chiefdom is 85 km², with a population of 2993, in nine villages, as of the census of July 22, 2003.
