Anne Gaschütz was born in 1983 in Dresden, Germany. Having spent six years in the United Kingdom, she returned to Dresden in 2008. 'The Representation of Urban Landscapes in Post-Communist Eastern European Cinema' was her final dissertation at the University of Wales, Newport.
