In the era of hands free and wireless devices,it is important that the technology still remains user friendly and reliable.Where RFID cards and passwords fail to provide a foolproof solution for providing a reliable means to authenticate the identity of the user,we find that the trend is shifting towards biometrics and voice recognition.Speech recognition is now touted as the next step after touchscreens where the user need not even type the instruction or press the required keys, the user just has to say he wants to do!

Manan Vyas received his Bachelors of Engineering in Electronics from University of Mumbai in 2012. He has also completed MIT6.002x-a pilot course of Massachusetts Institute of Technology on 'Circuits and Electronics' with an A grade.
