Supply Chain Systems and Demand for Aluminium
Details
The book provides information on Aluminium based raw material consumption, production, and availability in the Kenyan Industry. Specific processes at each stage were considered in order to shade light on the cost and how much is held at that particular stage. This was done by looking at the Material Flow and Value Chain Analysis of aluminium based raw materials in the Kenyan Industry.. Annual collective data on aluminium consumption, production and efficiency was considered in the analysis. The years from 2003 to 2007 were considered as the study period, and the raw materials covered included: local bauxite, imported bauxite, imported billets, coils and ingots, imported semi fabrications, and castings, imported scrap and local scrap. This will help potential investors to forecast market trends of the material.
