Synthesis and Therapeutic Potential of New 1,2,4-Triazole Derivative
Details
A series of heterocyclic '1,2,4-triazole' analogues was synthesised and screened for their in- vitro antimicrobial and antioxidant activities. According to the findings of the antimicrobial assessment study, compounds T9 and T12 exhibit good activity against Bacillus subtilis, T8 exhibits good activity against Escherichia coli, and compounds T10 and T12 again exhibit very good activity against Aspergillus clavatus. The standards taken in antimicrobial activity are ampicillin and fluconazole respectively. The outcomes of antioxidant evaluation revealed, Compound T3 and T5 exhibit excellent antioxidant action among all designed and synthesized derivatives with IC50 values of 33.51064 and 34.75936 respectively. The standard taken in antioxidant activity is ascorbic acid showing IC50- 31.95.
