TALENT MANAGEMENT AND SKILLS DEVELOPMENT THROUGH LINGUISTICS APPROACH

This textbook have examined extensively the relevance of talent management and skill development through the instrumentality of Technical, Vocational Education and Training (TVET) via linguistics approach thereby improving youth productive capabilities acquired through all levels of learning and training with needed skills to become lifelong earner with secure productive work through making informed decision which will positively engage them in their respective localities through the use of their local language for effectiveness purpose as a means to rescue the future of unemployment crisis that will be occasioned by increase growth in the world population and global conflicts leading to destruction and displacement of people from their original settlement in some cases. In same vein, this cannot be possible without a well-equipped technical and vocational institutions. It is a missing link in developing nation's development policy as observed by Dike (2009). For this reason, the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) and teachers in this areas should take up the campaign for more funds for vocational education and to launder its image in the society it has been.
