Not much has been written about technical colleges, especially teaching mathematics at one. Much had been written about community college mathematics. This book addresses this disparity.

Zachary Youmans is the current program chair and mathematics instructor at Central Georgia Technical College, a 2-year technical college in Macon, Warner Robins, and Milledgeville, GA. As program chair, he oversees 9 full-time faculty members and 12 adjuncts who all serve anywhere between 1200 and 1600 math students in the Spring and Fall semesters. Before becoming a math instructor, he served as a graduate teaching assistant at Utah State for 2 and a half years and a mathematics and statistics tutor for 3 years at the University of Northern Iowa. Alongside his wife, Kylie, and daughter, Aubree, he has two cats, Leo and Miko.
