The cooperation of universities in different countries

In the book the author has investigated the most important aspects of having international cooperation between universities. The book has been based on the knowledge transfer or knowledge exchange approach. It starts with a description of the methodology of the whole study. A case study approach is chosen. In addition, the author defines the most appropriate theories that can be applied. To get empirical evidence to the theories applied, mainly interviews have been used. This has been done with direct interviews with the Danish side and using electronic communication tools with the Latvians. A common interest field was eventually found - satellite technologies. The satellite technology perspective is then applied to see, how the defined cross-border barriers affect the cooperation possibilities.
