Whether a woman is employed or unemployed get the equal treatment in family in case of power or status. Moreover the unemployed women are more in secondary and vulnerable position and the employed women face the double burden to manage the household and outside work. For this, huge amount of population are staying outside of direct production process and their contribution is not valued in the GDP. It accounts the wastage of human resource. The recognition of homemaker's contribution should be important and consider them as active participants of national economy to ensure women's empowerment.
