The study of the history of wars and the art of warfare is intended to instil in young people a feeling of pride in defending the homeland and a desire to learn more about the historical experience of the wars of many peoples and, above all, the history of the Uzbek people's struggle for national independence and sovereignty and its traditions in wars to establish a centralized State. At the present stage, one can observe the attempts to rewrite the history in the interests of various forces. The glorious military past of our nation has not been thoroughly studied until now. Therefore, there is a historically justified need to study the history of the wars of the peoples of Uzbekistan, as history teaches that an independent free state must be able to defend its people against the encroachments of external enemies.
