Details

This work utilizes a mixed methods approach
consisting of a standardized survey, the Defining
Issues Test (DIT2), and classroom observation to
explore the question of the impact that a business
ethics course has on student moral development. This
work involved collecting data over the course of a
semester from students enrolled in four business
ethics courses at three religiously affiliated
colleges in Northeast Iowa. Rest s Defining Issues
Test 2 was administered at the beginning and end of
the semester along with classroom observations
throughout the semester. Past studies on business
ethics education have varied on conclusions
researched; the same occurred in this study, although
a litany of patterns that evolved from this research
provides guideposts for very interesting future research.
