This project is considered for the mills as the essential tool to take into account the particular requirements of customers in terms of food safety. The use of Good Hygiene Practice Guides and the implementation and maintenance of pre-requisite programs reinforce the control of risks throughout the production chain. Thus the establishment of this system will allow the mills to reassure its customers. The implementation of a food safety management system enhances customer confidence in the product provided and reduces health risks. It ensures better brand protection. The achievement of the set objectives depends on the implementation of action plans validated by the quality control manager. This implementation is linked to the availability of financial resources dedicated to the acquisition of equipment and staff training.
