This book intends to provide therapeutic management for the hemiplegic shoulder. This manuscript finds out the effect of electrical stimulation in combination with Bobath techniques in the prevention of shoulder subluxation in acute stroke patients, 30 subjects were selected using a convenient sampling technique and assigned into two groups with 15 subjects each. This is clinical research work concluded that the combination of Electrical stimulation and Bobath techniques were found to have fast recovery in stroke patients than giving Bobath techniques alone.

Dr. T Karthikeyan completed D.SC (2018) and PhD (2012) from Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda University, Coimbatore. Presently working as an Associate professor in Physiotherapy at UG,PG & PhD supervision, Department of Physiotherapy, Gurugram University, Gurugram, Haryana, India. He has published over 300 peer-reviewed scientific papers.
