Thirty Years of Natural Disasters and Their Impacts 1976 2006

The present book provides an account of the impact made by the disasters on the state of Tamil Nadu, India. Detailed analysis about human lives, houses destroyed, houses damaged, damage to crops, cattle lost and damage to roads etc., have been analysed for district and taluk level for the state. The analysis will help to prioritize the district for further disaster risk reduction programmes.
