WASTE MANAGEMENT: LEARNING WITH UNIVERSITY PROJECTS

In university teaching, students must change their role as learners, seeking to move from a passive attitude to a dynamic learning environment, where the student becomes the main actor in the process, where the analytical, reflective and evaluative conception is enhanced in the solution of individual and group problems, to build an active and meaningful knowledge, with the mediation of the teacher.The structure of this book presents, in chapter one "ECOLOGICAL MINES" "PRODUCTION AND USE OF BIODIESEL AS AN ALTERNATIVE FUEL", chapter two "COMPOSTA: AN ORGANIC FERTILIZER", chapter three "ECOLOGICAL MINES: RESIDUE REUSE", chapter four "ECOLOGICAL PAINTING: USING BANANA (Musa sapientum) RESIN", chapter five "OBTAINING BIODIESEL BY RECYCLING COOKING OIL".The teaching of pollution issues requires considering the objective of forming a population that is aware and concerned about the environment and its problems, that possesses knowledge, skills and motivations that allow them to work individually and collectively to solve current problems and prevent new ones from arising.
