Water scarcity and agricultural production in semi-arid Paraiba

This work was carried out with the aim of adding knowledge about agricultural production and rainfall analysis in the most recent water crisis that occurred in the Northeast, particularly in the state of Paraíba. The prolonged drought that often occurs in these Brazilian regions is one of the factors that hampers agriculture and economic growth, especially in rural areas, where the water deficit encourages rural exodus.
