Zaidon is a rural area south of the city of Fallujah in Al Anbar Province, Iraq. During the Iraq War, it was considered a hub of insurgent activity (especially by the 1920 Revolution Brigade and the US military conducted multiple operations to clear it. It is populated by the Zobai tribe. The area also sends representatives to the Abu Ghraib district in Baghdad.Fallujah is a city in the Iraqi province of Al Anbar, located roughly 69 kilometers (43 miles) west of Baghdad on the Euphrates. Fallujah dates from Babylonian times and was host to important Jewish academies for many centuries.
