The 2002 Energis Open was a tennis tournament played on outdoor clay courts in Amersfoort in the Netherlands and was part of the International Series of the 2002 ATP Tour. The tournament ran from July 15 through July 21, 2002. The Dutch Open Tennis Amersfoort (or Dutch Open) was a men's tennis tournament on the ATP Tour. Originally and event of the Grand Prix tennis circuit (1970-1989) it was held in Amersfoort, Netherlands until 2008. Held since 1957, the tournament was played on outdoor clay courts. Amersfoort was the venue after 2002, before that the tournament was hosted in Hilversum (1957 1994) and Amsterdam (1995 2001).
