They finished with a record of 60-84, placing them last in the Pacific Coast League Pacific North Division. After the City of Portland was awarded a new Major League Soccer franchise, the Portland Timbers, it was announced that the Beavers would have to move out of their current ball park, PGE Park, due to MLS regulations. The unnamed New Portland Ballpark has been planed for 2011 but no site has been announced. Possible plans include building the stadium in vacant spaces in Portland or an outlying city. Even if the Beavers don't find a new stadium, the plan for a new MLS franchise will go forward as the Portland City Council has already voted to allow the Timbers to play at PGE Park in 2011.
