This book is all about the study of a novel minimal access technique that Prof. Jategaonkar has devised for cholecystectomy and appendectomy. The technical aspects of this innovation along with its pros and cons have been discussed extensively. Based on the results of the study, Prof. Jategaonkar has found this method to be feasible and effective. Furthermore, it tries to blend the advantages of the single incision laparoscopic surgery and the natural orifice trans-luminal endoscopic surgery along with the conventional laparoscopic surgery. Hence, it is a valuable addition to the minimally invasive surgical armamentarium.
