An attempt was made to cover each and every symptom of Parkinson's disease in this book because of the authors' belief that "an informed patient is a stronger patient", and "a patient armed with knowledge about the disease is ready to fight with the disease".

Dr.A.Q. Rana is a Neurologist specializing in Parkinson's disease. He is the director of Parkinson's Clinic of Eastern Toronto and Movement Disorders Centre, Canada, is the founding editor-in-chief of the Journal of Parkinsonism and Restless Legs Syndrome, is founder of World Parkinson's Program, and has published extensively on Parkinson's disease.
