A Case Study on Low Back Pain

An informative thesis project about low back pain in patients who suffer from degenerative disc disease. It explains the origins of the disease, terminology, symptoms, related musculoskeletal and neurological components, the disease process, and conservative treatment options. It also includes protocols from a case study conducted, and follows the progress of a patient during a two-week in-patient rehabilitation plan.

The author is American of Czech descent who has lived in Prague for 10 years, where she also earned her BSc. in Physical Therapay at Charles University FTVS UK. She currently studies in the faculty's master degree program and holds an interest in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation.
