A Comparative Exploration of Clausal Structures in Five Languages

This work offers not just a representative corpus of clausal patterns and functions but also establishes some formal and theoretical generalizations on the five languages involved. Both linguistically and pedagogically, such generalizations enhance the understanding of the languages in particular and the concept of language in general. Therefore, this work is a welcome frontier in General Linguistics
