A Comparison of Performance between TFRC and UDP for Mobile IP Network

The development and growth in the multimedia applications and real time games field is needed to increase usage of continuous media protocols which weak end to end congestion control mechanisms. The weak of flow control inbuilt to these protocols can lead to a monopolization of the available bandwidth as these protocols are not concerned with reliable data delivery. This problem is called the Internet friendly problem or TCP-friendly problem.
