Limbum is an Eastern Grassfields Bantu language grouped under Mbam-Nkam together with other languages like Mfumte,Yamba, Kwaja, Dzodinka, Mbe and Ndaktup. Limbum is also classified as Niger-Congo, Atlantic-Congo, Volta-Congo, Benue-Congo, Bantoid, Southern, Wide Grassfields, Narrow Grassfields, Mbam Nkam, Nkambe Lewis, M. Paul (ed.), 2009. 1 The reference number for Limbum as can also be seen in the "Atlas Linguistique du Cameroun" (Dieu and Renaud 1983), is 903.

As a linguist, my research interests are in phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics and discourse analysis. This book is a by-product of the work I carried out on the Limbum English Dictionary and English - Limbum Index. It contains insightful analyses of the dictionary grammar findings which range from phonology to discourse analysis.
